MRS. GERTRUDE STEELE DIES.

Former Grinnell Resident Passes in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Many friends of Mrs. Gertrude Steele will learn with regret of her death which occurred Friday morning, June 1, at the home of her son, Guy Steele, in Okmulgee, Okla. The body will be brought to Des Moines for burial. Funeral services will be held from the Harbach parlors at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Griffith and Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Triplett, from Grinnell, will attend.

Mrs. Steele was the mother of Guy, Ray and Leslie Steele. The family made their home in Grinnell for many years.
