TRIPLETT'S ELDEST BROTHER IS DEAD

Word was received Sunday by H.L. Triplett that his eldest brother, Frank had died that noon. Mr. Triplett would have been seventy-three next September. Two sons and three daughters survive him. In 1879 he graduated from the Law course at Iowa City.

H.L. Triplett confided in a Herald reporter that he was prompted the Fourth of July to make the trip to Gowrie to visit his brother whom he had not seen for some time. They enjoyed a good old Fourth of July celebration and had a long talk together, his brother seeming to be in good spirits and health, although he had suffered a paralytic stroke some little time ago.

Because two daughters and one son live in California the time of the funeral has not yet been announced.
