M.G. HOWARD DIES IN ILLINOIS

M.G. Howard, for many years a well known resident of Grinnell, died Sunday, Oct. 29, in LaGrange, Ill. The body will be brought to Grinnell for burial and services will be held at the grave next Friday.

Mr. Howard is survived by his wife and five children, Lillian J. Howard, Helen Howard Geiger, Grace Howard Adams, Edna Howard Carpenter and Everett Martin Howard.

Mr. Howard was a giant in size and strength. At one time he attended college and played on the football team. He was in the transfer and storage business here for twenty-six years. The family moved away from Grinnell in 1923.
