OBITUARY

LOVINA ADELINE BELL

Lovina Adeline Bell was the daughter of Steward Arlo and Mary Elizabeth Bell. She was born near Newburg, in Hickory Grove township, on July 6, 1882, and passed away April 6, 1947, after a three years' illlness, at the home of her sister, Mrs. F.G. Ahrens, at 515 Fourth avenue in Grinnell, having attained the age of 64 years and 10 months.

She grew up on the farm, where she attended country school, and where she lived until 1908, when she moved to Grinnell, where she has since resided.

She has surviving her a son, Floyd Bell of Rock Island, Ill., a brother, George Bell of Great Falls, Montana, three sisters, Mrs. Bert Hinton of Webster City, Mrs. F.G. Ahrens of Grinnell, and Mrs. Rosa Walker of Brooklyn, Ia. and five grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers, Ollie and Harvey Bell preceded her in death.

She was a regular attendant at the Hickory Grove U.B. church in whose cemetery she will find her last resting place. Her life was uneventful, but quiet and useful, and she will be sincerely mourned by those who knew her best.
