GEORGE MARTIN SERVICES HELD

Services were held in Cedar Rapids Saturday for George W. Martin, 34, of rural Vinton, who died Dec. 31 following an automobile accident.

Mr. Martin was born Feb. 22, 1941, in Linn County, Mo., and was married to Frances Sears, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Sears of Grinnell, on Jan. 1, 1974, at Anamosa. A member of the Antioch Church of Christ of Marion, Ia., he was employed by St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include Mr. Martin's wife; a son, William; three daughters, Janet, Donna, and Sally, all at home, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orval Martin Sr., of Marion; and a brother, Orval Martin Jr., also of Marion.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Dwight Addleman of the Antioch Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Orval Martin Sr., John Inge, David Inge, George Martin, William Martin, and Finis Wilcox.

Friends may make donations in Mr. Martin's name to the Antioch Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
