VIRGIL FOSTER SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Virgil N. (Dutch) Foster, 48, of Rte. 1, Dublin, Ga., were held Saturday, Jan. 20, at Dublin.

He was born March 28, 1924, at Laporte, Ind., and he grew up in Grinnell.

Mr. Foster was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was employed as a livestock buyer and was active in the organizational work of the Faith Baptist Church of which he was a member.

Mr. Foster is survived by his wife Hazel; two sons, Donald Virgil Foster of Hilliard, Fla., and Terry Newton Foster of Dublin; his mother, Mrs. Frances Foster Pfeiffer of Grinnell; one sister Mrs. Gene Berry of Grinnell, two brothers, Richard Foster and Charles Foster, both of Newton; and two grandsons, Donald Jr. and Franklin Bart.

Pallbearers at the Jan. 20 services included W.D. Smith, Duel H. Dean, I.F., Moorman, Bobby Hobbs, Ralph Davis, and Hugh I. York.
