JULIUS BILLICK DIES TUESDAY
Julius L. Billick, 72, 2006 Skyline Drive, died Tuesday at Marshalltown Area Community Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Pursel Davis Chapel with the Rev. Jack Mauldin in charge. Graveside rites will follow at 3 p.m. Friday at IOOF Cemetery at Brooklyn.
He was born at Brooklyn June 18, 1905, the son of Irving and Anna Henry Billick. He received his education in Brooklyn, graduating from high school there.
He came to Marshalltown in 1942, where he was employed in the production office of Fisher Controls. He retired in 1970.
His widow, Irene, survives. They were married May 26, 1929, in Montezuma.
Also surviving are one son, Larry J. Billick, Marshalltown; two sisters, Mrs. Neola Lunde, Quarry, and Mrs. Zella Hall, Grinnell; a brother, Joe Billick, Brooklyn; and five grandchildren. One son, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Billick was a member of the Fisher 25-Year Club and the Marshall County Senior Citizens.
