William M. Cox

William M. Cox, son of Richard & Emmeline Cox was born on a farm in Jasper County, Iowa, February 15, 1869 and passed away in a hospital in Grinnell, Friday morning May 9, 1952 at the age of 83 years.

When a small boy he moved with his parents to a farm in Hickory Grove Twp. south of Newburg where he continued to live until 1928 when he retired and moved to Grinnell.

On February 6, 1935 he was united in marriage to Alberta Crawford and they established their home at 1309 West St., Grinnell, where he lived until his death following a stroke 6 weeks ago.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother & a sister, Mrs. Emma Breeden.

He leaves to survive, his wife, Alberta, and a nephew, Floyd Breeden of Estes Park, Colorado and a host of friends.
