Who Died Saturday, Was One Of Pioneers
A. J. Breeden, one of the long time residents of this community, passed away last Saturday noon in a local hospital, aged 84 years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist Church.

Mr. Breeden was one of the few remaining pioneers of this locality. He was born in 1857 on a farm northwest of Grinnell and moved to Grinnell in 1900. He has resided here ever since.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Emma Breeden, 1 son, Floyd L. Breeden, a grandson, Lyle A. Breeden, and 3 great grandchildren, Howard Lee, Carol K. & Leonard Thomas, all children of Lyle Breeden.
