Obituary
SUSAN MYRTLE FRISBIECorwith, Nov. 8:--Susan Myrtle Frisbie was born Susan Myrtle Robinson at Carmi, Illinois, on Oct. 5, 1881. She passed away after a brief illness on November 2, 1947, at the age of 66 years, 27 days. Her parents died when she was a small child and she and a sister were reared by their grandmother.
She married Thomas Green in 1896. To this union were born two daughters, Ann, (Mrs. Rollie Morgart) of Des Moines, and Frances (Mrs. Earl Foster) of Grinnell. Mr. Green preceded her in death in the summer of 1905. She was united in marriage to Bert Frisbie, of Lone Rock, in August, 1907.
To this union were born six children, two daughters and four sons. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dolly, who died in infancy, and by Mr. Frisbie, who passed away November 10, 1941. Surviving are one daughter, Bertha Gafke, of Bozeman, Montana, and four sons, Morris, of Corwith; Jack, of St. Louis; Orris, of Corwith; and Harry, of Wilmington, California. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 5, at the First Baptist church of Corwith by O.R. Roberts, pastor. Burial was in the Lone Rock cemetery.
