HARVEY MITCHELL HAYWARD

Harvey M. Hayward was born March 24, 1861, in Ohio. He came to Brooklyn with his parents when a young man and lived here continuously until his death Monday morning. He had been in poor health several years but his death came suddenly as he had been as well as usual until stricken with a heart attack. He served as nightwatchman and day marshall for a number of years in Brooklyn and worked for the plumbers here for years.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Thursia.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Presbyterian church with the Reverend E.W.F. Holler in charge assisted by the Reverend Malcom Stewart. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, where the K.P. lodge had charge.

Pall bearers were: Frank Roberts, R.J. Breckenridge, W.K. Karr, S.J. Holland, Balzer Kriegel, and Wm. Kuntz.
