JACOB GWIN

Jacob Gwin passed away on Wednesday, February 18, at his home in Montezuma, aged 85 years, 3 months and 25 days. He was born on October 24, 1826. Four sons survive him: Tom Gwin of Canada, George Gwin of Alaska, Nathan Gwin of Wyoming and Elmer Gwin of Nevada; also four grandchldren, Louis Gwin of Nebraska, Harry Gwin of Grinnell, Mrs. Floyd Nichols of Grinnell and Mrs. Ida Windhurst of Williamsburg.

Mr. Gwin was buried from the Blue Point church, the services being conducted by the Rev. Mr. Burdell of Montezuma.
