Mrs Eliza Jane (Holden) Roblyer was born Nov. 27,1853 in Pennsylvania and died May 12,1929 at her home near Ericson, (Nebraska) at the age of 75 years, 5 months, 15 days.

She moved to Iowa with her folks in 1855 and located in Powesheik County. She was united in marriage to Ephrem P. Jones, March 9, 1875, who preceded her in death April 3o, 1904. To this union was born seven children, of which one died in infancy. Those living are, Mr. Clark Jones, Chas'. R. Jones, Bert Jones and Mrs Stella Kellogg, all of Ericson, Nebr.; James Jones of Vinton, Iowa and Wm. Jones of Allen, Nebr.

She later married Lewis H. Roblyer of Ericson, Nebr. Dec 25, 1904, who preceded her in death just one week previous.

Mrs Roblyer was striken with a stroke of paralysis several months ago, but her condition improved and was not considered critical until the shock she sustained from Mr. Roblyer's death from which she never rallied.

She united with the Methodist Church at Summit, Iowa at an early age. She was what one might call an old fashioned Christian mother of a quite unassuming nature, and to know her was to love her.

She leaves to mourn her loss besides the six children, twenty-five grand children, four great grand children and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held at the Ericson Methodist Church in charge of Rev. Primrose, Pastor of the Spalding Presbyterian Church.

A mixed quartette composed of Mr. Geo. Lockhart, Mrs S.T. Geiger, Mrsl O. J. Walthers and Mr. S. Wescott furnished fitting music singing the hymns chosen by the family, Face to Face, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere and Nearer My God To Thee.

The Pallbearers were Messrs. Chris Wonderlich, Wm. Fritz, Preston Bumgardner, Urban McKenzie, Dick Lehman, Carl Dahlstein.

Mr. Beberich of Spaulding was the Undertaker in charge of the body. Interment was made in Pible Cemetery.
