TO HOLD SERVICES TUESDAY FOR MRS. JEAN WILLIAMS

Funeral srvices for Mrs. Jean Foster Williams, who passed away suddenly in a local hospital Friday morning, will be held at the First Baptist church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. C.E. Kingsley officating.

The wife of Billy Williams, she was born in Grinnell on Jan. 25, 1927, the daughter of Clarence and Ada Fleming Foster. She attended the local schools and graduated from the local high school in 1944.

After attending a beauty school in Des Moines, she returned to Grinnell and was united in marriage on June 15, 1945 to Billy H. Williams. They continued to make their home here in Grinnell and she worked as a secretary at the C.W. DeLong and Sons factory.

She was a member of the First Baptist church and also of the church's Guild. She taught several classes in the church. Mrs. Williams was a member of Chapter 47 of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Billy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Foster of Grinnell; and one brother, Donald C. Foster of Anaheim, Calif.

Pall bearers will be Bob Brown, Joe Brown, Richard Cox, Edwin Halstead, Donald King and Floyd Hunter. Mr. Ed Bohstedt will serve as oranist and Mrs. Boyd Locker and Miss Mary Neumann will be the flower bearers. Burial will be made in Hazelwood Cemetery.
