DONALD CLARENCE FOSTER

Donald Clarence Foster of 9308 Tina Way, Anaheim, California passed away Monday morning, Feb. 27, 1967 at the Memorial Hospital at Long Beach, California. Services were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the La Palma Chapel from Backs-Kaulbars Funeral Home of Anaheim, California.

Dr. Alfred M. Engle, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Anaheim, California conducted the services. Interment was at El Toro Cemetery at El Toro, California.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Foster of 1510 Prairie Street, Grinnell, Iowa, and was born February 14, 1929 at Grinnell, Iowa. He graduated from Grinnell High School with the class of 1946 and was a graduate of 4-C's Business College of Des Moines, Iowa.

He served in the Korean War, and spent 19 months of that time in Korea. After his return from service, he completed his education at the Long Beach City College, Long Beach, Calif. and also held a graduation diploma from the Dale-Carnegie in Speech and Human Relations course.

On March 15, 1957 at Lakewood, California, he was united in marriage with Mary Ann Hansen of San Clemente, California. To this union were born two children, Cynthia Jean, age 8, and Daniel Charles, age 6.

Donald was a member of the First Baptist Church at Grinnell, Iowa. He worked as an Operations Officer with the Bank of America at Huntington Park, California. He belonged to the Optimist Club, the Bank of American Club, was a member of the Masonic Order, was on the Board of Directors of the Camp Fire Girls, and served willingly and faithfully in many other interests of his community.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, and his children, Cindy and Danny, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Foster, many relatives, and hosts of good friends. His sister, Jean Maxine Foster Williams (Mrs. Billy H. Williams), preceded him in death on January 23, 1959.
