DELSINA NORRIS

Delsina Pickering Norris, 78, of Keokuk died Jan. 9 at the Keokuk Convalescent Center.

Private funeral services were conducted Jan. 12 at DeJong Funeral Home in Keokuk, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

She was born April 8, 1910, in Unionville, Mo., the daughter of Charley and Flossie Haines Pickering. She was married to Fred Norris May 11, 1935, in Des Moines. The couple moved to Keokuk in 1945 where they owned and operated the OK Tire Shop.

Mrs. Norris was a member of the First Christian Church, the Royal Neighbors and the Ladies of the Moose.

She is survived by two sisters, Hazel Crook and Marie Turney, both of Grinnell, and a stepson, Kenneth Norris of Oskaloosa.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a stepson.
