Blue Point, Feb. 13: Mrs. Toby Thomas, the former Lucille Gilbert of Montezuma, passed away suddenly Friday noon at Grinnell Hospital. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Gilbert and with her parents lived many years in the Blue Point vicinity or community. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30, at Steffy's Funeral Home with burial at West Liberty Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, two brothers, Lloyd and Harry, and a sister, Mae Talbert of Montezuma, cousins, and many friends. Our sympathy to the family.
