WM. THOMPSON DEAD

Wm. Thompson died at his home on Union Ridge at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1902, of pleuro-pneumonia. His illness had covered a period of a couple of weeks during which time he had passed the critical period of the disease and had recovered to the point of convalescence, when he contracted a cold and suffered a relapse complicated with jaundice. On Tuesday Dr. Tribbett was called in consultation and every thing possible was done to arrest the course of the disease, but to no purpose. A widow and one child survive him.
