MRS. CARRIE SLOAN DIES AT GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA

Word was received here by Mrs. L. Forney of Chicago, Ill., of the death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Carrie Sloan, of Glendale, Calif. She had been in poor health for several months.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lee Wier, of Los Angeles, Calif., a son, Richard Sloan, of Miami, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Stevenson, of Los Angeles, Calif.

NOTE: Mrs. Jessie Stevenson is an error..she is Josephine Stephenson.
