MILDRED MAE SHAW

A rememberance service for Mildred Mae Shaw, 87, of Phoenix, Ariz., will be held Saturday in the home of her son, Kenneth Shaw.

Mrs. Shaw died June 10, 2002, in the home of her daughter, in Phoenix, Ariz. Born April 30, 1915, in Brooklyn, Iowa, she was raised in La Jara, Colo. She came to California during World War II to work for the Southern Pacific Railroad. She retired from Napa State Hospital in the 1970s.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by her son, Kenneth V. of Winters; daughter Whilma Jean Crawford of Phoenix, Ariz.; stepson, Frank A. of Sacramento and Ed of North Highlands; grandchildren, Terry M. Crawford of East St. Louis, Ill., Dennis of Shingle Springs, Richard of Sacramento, Michael of Rio Linda and Vicky of North Highlands; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank V. Shaw.
