MRS. HARRAH DIES IN BURBANK, CALIF.

Mrs. Jennie A. Harrah, 75, a former Brooklyn resident, died December 4 at the Burbank Home of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in California where she had lived since July 15. Mrs. Harrah's last illness consisted of complications following a broken hip and a stroke which she suffered in September, 1957.

Jennie Ann Harrah, daughter of Robert and Mary Jane Orr, was born in Brooklyn Sept. 28, 1883, and died Dec. 4, 1958. For several years she assisted her father in his implement office and was graduated from Brooklyn High school in 1900. On March 2, 1910, she was married to Orin W. Harrah, who is now a retired civil engineer. Two daughters, Ruth and Mildred, were born to the couple.

In 1936 Mrs. Harrah became affiliated with the Christian Science church and at the time of her death was a member of the Second Church of Christ Scientist at Burbank, Calif.

Funeral services were conducted Dec. 8 in the Little Church of the Flowers, Glendale, Calif. in charge of the Rev. Herbert L. Davies. Interment was at Forest Lawn cemetery.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Murphy and Mrs. Mildred Shaw; one brother and one sister, F.T. Orr and Mrs. James Lippincott, both of Brooklyn; two granddaughters; one grandson and two great-grandsons.
