NORMA DEPAUW

Mrs. Norma DePauw, 58, of Brooklyn, wife of Raymond DePauw, died Friday, March 3, 1989, in her home.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. DePauw was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 6, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Brooklyn. Rev. Karl Holtkamp, pastor of St. Patrick's, was the Celebrant. The organist was Mrs. Bernadette (Sally) Gates. Flower attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Max Clayton. Casket-Bearers were David Walford, Les Ollinger, Donald Henning, Tom Hollopeter, Harold Hiner and James G. Clayton. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn.

A Rosary Service was held at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home.

A memorial fund for the American Cancer Society has been established.

Norma Lee Roth DePauw, daughter of William Roth and Beulah Brimmer Roth, was born November 11, 1930, in Grinnell, Ia. She received her education in Brooklyn graduating from the Brooklyn High School. Mrs. DePauw was a life-long resident of Brooklyn. She worked as a sales clerk for Ben Franklin Store, Roberts Variety Store and Jermier Variety Store.

Mrs. DePauw was united in marriage to Raymond DePauw February 14, 1950, in St. Patrick's Church, Brooklyn.

Mrs. DePauw was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Brooklyn and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond; one son, Michael of Brooklyn; three daughters, Devran DePauw, Kathryn, Mrs. Rick Gilliland, and Bethany, Mrs. Brad Clark, all of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Mrs. Beulah Roth of Brooklyn; two sisters, Kathleen, Mrs. Stanley Walford of Brooklyn, and Marilyn, Mrs. Richard Green of Iowa Falls; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
