DEPAUW

Devran Ann DePauw, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids afer a long illness. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Revs. James Brokman and Richard Ament. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn. A memorial fund has been established.

Born May 24, 1952 in Grinnell to Raymond and Norma Roth DePauw, Devran graduated from Brooklyn-Guernsey-Malcom Community High School. She worked for Iowa National Mutual Insurance Company from 1970 to 1992 and was an Administrative Assistant for Physicians' Clinic of Iowa until the present.

Devran was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

Survivors include her father and stepmother Ray and Mary DePauw of Brooklyn; a brother Mike (Pauline) DePauw of Malcom and his daugher, Laura; a sister Kathy (Rick) Gilliland of Cedar Rapids and their children, Joshua and Mariah; a brother-in-law Bruce Hamilton of Cedar Rapids; her grandmother Beulah Roth of Brooklyn; her special friend, Bob Hanna; three stepbrothers Dan Cline, Don Cline, and Ken Cline; three stepsisters, Mary Jo Upah, Virginia Arens, and Beth Van Renterghem; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma; a sister Bethany Hamilton, and her grandparents, William Roth and Ed and Blanche DePauw.
