NEALY BRIMMER VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA
(Contributed)

Thursday noon, Dec. 12, the community was saddened by the news that Nealy Brimmer had passed away at his home northeast of town.

On Dec. 3 he was taken sick with influenza which finally developed into pneumonia. He fought the battle of life against death ten long painful days, but in spite of all that loving hands could do, answered the final summons Dec. 12, 1918, aged (38?) years 7 months and 12 days.

Nealy, as he was familiarly called, was a splendid young man, honest and industrious with a sunny, cheerful disposition which won him many friends. A good and loving husband and father, son and brother and will be sadly missed by them all.

There is a vacant place in his home which never can be filled. He leaves to mourn, his wife, three little daughters, Bulah, Freda and Wilma, and stepson, Howard, two brothers, three sisters and father and mother, a number of other relatives and many, many friends.

A precious one from us has gone.
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home
which never can be filled.
Husband, father, son and brother,
We, thy loss deplore;
Till again we meet together
On the other shore.
God in his wisdom has recalled
The boon His (lo??) had given;
And though the body slumber here,
The soul is safe in heaven.

Card of Thanks

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks for the many kindnesses shown us in the last sickness of our dear husband and father.
Mrs. Luett Brimmer and children.
