--Our citizens were surprised this morning to learn of the sudden death last night of John Hott, who has been living with his son-in-law, Mr. Howard Triplett. This morning as he did not rise as early as usual, Mrs. Triplett stepped to his bedroom door to call him, and found him lifeless. Mr. Hott had been for some years subject to epilepsy, and it is supposed he died during an apoplectic attack. He was bout 59 years of age, a citizen respected by all who knew him. His body will be taken to Brooklyn for burial.
