POWESHIEK N PIECES
--About two weeks ago, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hott, formerly of this place, but now residing at Trinidad, Colo., were enjoying a pleasant ride in the mountains near that place. They were accompanied by their daughters, Mrs. Arthur Triplett and her husband and Mrs. Jno. Barton. During their descent the kingbolt came out and the buggy was upset. Every occupant of the vehicle was more or less injured. Mrs. Hott, besides sustaining a broken arm, was injured internally. Yesterday, Jim Norris received a telegram conveying the sad intelligence of Mrs. Hott's death. Her brother and sister, Mr. Norris and Mrs. Geo. Manatt, supposed she was improving and the news of her death will be a sorrowful blow. The body will probably reach this city some time tomorrow, when it will be conveyed to Brooklyn for interment.--Herald.

NOTE: Mrs. Arthur Triplett is in error in this obituary..she was Mrs. Howard Triplett.
