SLEGGELL--Died, at her home in North Brooklyn, Sunday evening, September 4, 1892, of paralysis, Mrs. Margaret Charlotte Sleggell, aged 54 years, 4 months and 4 days.

Mrs. Sleggell was born in Holmes county, Ohio on May 1, 1840 and departed this life Sunday, Sept. 4, 1892 at 7 p.m. As the church bells were calling the people of God to His worship, the death knell was sounded to Mother Sleggell's spirit and it took its flight from the toils and cares of earth to the joys and pleasures in the presence of the God that gave it. She had been a faithful memeber of the M.E. church for over thirty-five years. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom are now living. Faithfully has she struggled and fought the battles of life which naturally fall to the mother in the caring for and watching over home matters, where she was always found at her post of duty. We think it can be well said of Mrs. Sleggell, she has fought a good fight, she has kept the faith and that she has entered into the joy of her Lord.
