GRINNELL, IA. - Carmen Preston, 81, of Grinnell died of a blood clot Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the United Church of Christ-Congregation, of which she was a member. Burial wil be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Preston, a homemaker, was born in Lake Mills and had lived in Grinnell since 1932. She was a member of PEO and the Grinnell General Hospital board.

Surviving are her husband, Stanley; a son, Stanley II of Roswell, Ga.; a brother, Roy Isaacs of West Des Moines; a sister, Margaret McIntire of Clear Lake; and four grandchildren.
