Elizabeth C. Parish, 85, of Grinnell died of pancreatitis Monday at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Grinnell United Church of Christ Congregatinal, of which she was a member. Cremation will follow.

Mrs. Parish, a homemaker, was born in Independence and had lived in Grinnell since 1942.

She is survived by her husband, John; three daughters, Celia McHenry of Iowa City, Kathy Shives of Des Moines and Jane Yang of Appleton, Wis.; and five grandchildren.
