Services for Daryl V. Thomspon, 68, of Route 1, Grinnell, who died of a heart ailment Wednesday at his home, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Westfield Cemetery near Grinnell.

Mr. Thompson was born near Grinnell and formerly lived in California before returning to the Brooklyn and Bethel areas after World War II. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; two brothers, Charyl W. of Turlock, Calif., and Carroll E. of Gilman; and his mother, Alda Miller of Grinnell.

Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
