Mrs. Donald Mulbrook Is Called By Death

Mrs. Donald Mulbrook, 29 years old, of Grinnell, died at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. Fred Johnson, west of town. She had been in poor health for some time.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Little Mount Baptist church west of town, the Rev. E. M. Gregson pastor of the church, and the Rev. Carrie Butler, paster of the Friends church in Grinnell, in charge of the service. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

The pallbearers were Hiram Morrow, William Shadley, Alvin Johnston, Allen Johnston, Walter James and George Webber. Mrs. J. R. Orcutt and Mrs. Lydia Latham, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Glen Bone, sang favorite selections.

Martha Eleanor Galloway, daughter of John and Katherine Galloway, was born September 27, 1905 at Montezuma, and departed this life March 16, 1935, at the age of 29 years, five months and 19 days.

She joined the Church of Christ in her early years.

On February 22, 1922, she was united in marriage to Herbert Becraft. To this union two children were born: Herbert LeRoy and Goldie Mae. On December 23, 1927, she was united in marriage to Don Mulbrook. To this union three children were born: Don, Jr., Martha Louise and Shirley Ann, the latter preceded her in death 14 months ago.

Those left to mourn her loss are her husband and four children; her step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson of Montezuma; her father, John Galloway of Marshalltown; two brothers: George of Grinnell and Robert of Chicago; two half-sisters and one half-brother: Mary, Helen and Alfred Galloway, of Des Moines; besides other relatives and a host of friends.
