GRINNELL, IA. - Margaret Hicks, 82, of Grinnell died of a respiratory ailment Wednesday at Grinnell General Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church of Guernsey, of which whe was a member, with burial at Guernsey Cemetery.

Mrs. Hicks was born in Poweshiek County, and had lived in Grinnell two years. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Marvin of Guernsey; a sister, Leona Neitzel of Grundy Center; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Watts Funeral Home in Montezeuma, where the family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. ~ The Des Moines Register, April 1991
