GRINNELL, IA. - Barbara Neighbors, 60, of Grinnell died of cancer Wednesday at Grinnell General Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Neighbors, who last worked as an assistant cashier at Brinton Bank of Poweshiek County, was born in Maryville, Mo., and lived in Grinnell most of her life. She was a member of the United Church of Christ-Congregational and the Grinnell General Hospital auxiliary.

Among survivors are her husband, Howard; two sons, Gregory of Durham, N.C., and Jeffrey of Iowa city; a sister, Sue Ritter of Joliet, Mont.; and a grandchild.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday and until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Grinnell Hospice.
