Luella Latcham

GRINNELL, IA. - Luella Latcham, 92, of Grinnell died of a stroke Sunday at St. francis Manor Nursing Home, where she was a resident for two years. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grinnell United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Latcham was born in the Grinnell area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Leonard and Allen, a daughter, Louise Wilkins, and two sisters, Clara Cogley and Edith Plikuhn, all of Grinnell; a brother, Sherman Figland of Santa Monica, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Friends may call until service time as Smith Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register December 1990
