Gerald S. Webster

PANORA, IA--Services for Gerald S. Webster of Panora will be at 11:30 am. Wednesday at Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery there. Mr. Webster,84 died Sunday at Guthrie Center Hospital of a stroke and Alzheimers's disease.
Born in Grinnell, he formerlly lived in Casey, Menlo, Colorado Springs, Colo. and in Des Moines for 25 years. until moving to Panora Care Center. He retired from the Savery hotel in Des Moies, formerly owned hotels in Colorado and was a memeer of the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Florence, a son Donald of Austin, Texas, two sisters, Dorothy Van Gorp and Ruth Fisher, both of Des Moines, three grand-children and four great-grand-children.
Friends may call from 9 am. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Association.
