The Montezuma Republican, December 13, 1945. Obituary -- David Albert RICHARDS. David Albert RICHARDS was born May 15, 1879, at Summerset and passed away December 5, 1945, at What Cheer at the age of 66 years, 6 months, and 20 days, after a lingering illness of 8 months. He was united in marriage to Amanda AMMANN of near Deep River on August 15, 1900, and to this union were born ten children. They are Mrs. Viola NEITZEL of Guernsey, Roy of Grinnell, Orville of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Hazel JACOBS of Oskaloosa, John of Knoxville, Ralph of Kellogg, Mrs. Mary Schultz of Grinnell, Mrs. Lela BURNETTE of Bucklin, Mo., Glen in service and David of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at Montezuma Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Merton D. WYATT in charge of services.
