FLANAGAN-SCHMITZ

Miss Mae Flanagan and John Schmitz were married at the Catholic church at 9:30 o'clock on Wednesday morning by Rev. M.J. Hannon. A large number of relatives and friends of both parties were present.

The bride was dressed in a becoming gown of white taffeta silk. Joseph Donahue of Parnell was groomsman and Miss Rose Flanagan, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid.

A splendid reception and dinner was given at the bride's home on Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Schmitz is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Flanagan living east of the fair grounds, and is well and favorable known to many people of this community. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schmitz, Sr., and is a likeable and successful young farmer.

They will make their home on the groom's farm about five and a half miles south of town.
