Alvin Jones Celebrates 3 Anniversaries on Same Day

1914Thursday, June 14, was the 84th birthday of Alvin Jones of this city. It was also his 63rd wedding anniversary and the 53rd anniversary of his enlistment in the Union Army in 1861. Not many can celebrate so many anniversaries on the same day. The ladies of the G.A.R. Circle and their husbands planned a nice surprise on Mr. and Mrs. Jones and swooped down on them Thursday evening.--Montezuma Republican.
