WEDDING MAY 4

A wedding of much interest to many Grinnell friends took place Saturday evening, May 4, at 8:00 o'clock at the Methodist parsonage in Grinnell when Miss Inez Thompson, daughter of Mrs. Joe Thompson and Mr. Ralph Dexter, son of Mrs. Bert Dexter, were united in marriage by the Rev. Charles R. Rowe, using the single ring ceremony. They were attended by Clara Summers and Frank Bouma.

The bride wore a beautiful dress of powder blue, with blue and white accessories to match.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Dexter have lived in and around Grinnell all their lives. Mrs. Dexter attended Grinnell high school, graduating with the class of 1928. Mr. Dexter also attended Grinnell high school. He is now employed at the Maytag factory in Newton, where they will make their home.
