COUNTY" IS ISSUED

The first copies of Professor Parker's "History of Poweshiek County" have been received in Grinnell and delivered to subscribers. The book is a tribute to the hard work and painstaking care of the author, who, in spite of the modest disclamer published in the Herald a short time ago has compiled a work of real historical value. It requires only a glance at the volume to discover the infinite pains which went into the making of it.

The second volume, for which Professor Parker is not responsible, contains biographies of a number of Poweshiek county citizens.
