DIEHM-FOSTER

Miss Clara Diehm of Grinnell and Mr. Lester Foster of Brooklyn were married Saturday afternoon, Oct. 13, in Newton by the Rev. Mr. Blancke of the Lutheran church. The double ring service was performed in the presence of Miss Gussie Diehm of Grinnell, sister of the bride, and Mr. Chris Septer of Searsboro.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Diehm of Grinnell. She has been employed in the Grinnell Glove Factory for the past two years. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster of Brooklyn. He attended the Brooklyn schools, graduating in the class of 1926. Since graduation he has farmed with his father on the Foster place just west of Brooklyn.

The young couple will make their home on the Foster place until spring, when they plan to start farming for themselves.--Brooklyn Chronicle.
