PLAN IMPROVEMENTS FOR "CANDYLAND"

Grinnell's Candyland is one of the best Soda Fountains and Ice Cream Parlors in the state at present and is going to be better after September 1.

Jim and Pete have purchased some fine new booths. These booths are made of finest mahogany with the best of Vermont marble panels. In all there are to be twenty new fixtures, 18 large ones and two small kiddies' booths, to be here by the middle of August and installed by September 1. The entrance to the Ice Cream Parlor is going to be torn out and the old lattice work replaced by White Onyx marble.

Jim says that the new fixtures cost several thousand dollars and that they will have to sell lot of Coca Colas and malted milks to pay for them.
