THE FESTIVE 'COON.

Montezuma Palladium: Last Friday night Ike Fleener's pet coon got loose and in his emigrations arrived at the home of Earl Rempp. The coon broke through the screen door and going into the bed room bit Mrs. Rempp on the leg just above the ankle. Earl's little son was next attacked and was bitten through the foot. Earl was aroused and tried to drive the coon from the house, but it showed fight. Earl had taken his shotgun apart but he secured the barrel and with it landed on the coon's head, killing the animal.
