COCHRAN-CARTER NUPTIALS THURSDAY

Miss Marie Cochran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Cochran of Deep River and R.W. Carter of Rock Island, Ill., were married Thanksgiving day at the Presbyterian church in Brooklyn, the pastor, the Rev. M.F. Stewart, performing the ceremony. Miss Shirley Baker and Richard Schmidt of Rock Island were attendants.

The bride wore a black and gold tunic dress with black accessories and carried an arm bouquet of bronze and gold giant chrysanthemums. A Thanksgiving dinner was served to 25 guests at the home of the bride's parents.

Mr. Carter is employed at the Republic steel mills in Moline. Mrs. Carter has been employed in Rock Island. They will make their home in Rock Island.
