McDonough Newlyweds Are Feted

NEWLYWEDS ARE FETED JAN. 29-31

A newly married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn McDonough, were complimented at two delightful surprise courtesies at the parental C.H. McDonough home. On Monday evening a large group of neighbors and friends honored them at a charivari and miscellaneous shower and on Wednesday evening Mrs. Ivan McDonough and Mrs. Harold Pearce were joint hostesses at a social evening and shower. Assisting in entertaining were Mrs. Rene Reisel and Mrs. Hazel Hall. Cards were arranged for evening diversion and refreshments served.

Sharing the two affairs were Mr. and Mrs. Worth Belden, E.H. Dunham and sons, J.B. Grinnell, Mrs. and Mrs. Leland Clark, Mrs. Hazel Hall, Eldon Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Rene Reisel and daughter, Bernice, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Wiley, Jesse Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Iversen and son, Darrell, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. McDonough and family, John Krumm and Eloise Ryan of Tama, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McDonough, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pearce, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schnell and daughters, Ruth Evelyn, Dorothy Lee and Helen Jean, Donovan Evans, Miss Patty Abel and Burton Koger.
