MARRIED THURSDAY

Miss Esther Veverka and William F. Schlesselman Joined in Wedlock

Thursday at high noon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Veverka, east of Montezuma, occurred the marriage of Miss Esther Veverka and William F. Schlesselman. The ceremony, which was witnessed by a large number of relatives and friends of the contracting parties, was performed by Rev. Geo. Blagg, pastor of the Montezuma M.E. church. An elegant wedding dinner followed.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Veverka, a young lady with a host of friends and admirers, one who possesses the qualification to preside over a home. She has been very popular among the young people of her acquaintance and will take with her to the new home the sincere good wishes of all.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Lewy Schlesselman, of Victor, and a young man of excellent promise. In his home town he has the confidence and esteem of the public. He is a carpenter and contractor and expects to make his home at Victor.

Those attending the wedding from a distance were: Mr. Smith, of North Yakima, Washington; Mr. and Mrs.Lepley and family, of Victor; Mr. and Mrs. Refer and family, of Victor; Mrs. L. Schlesselman, of Victor; Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Norris and family, of Brooklyn; and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Norris and family, Mrs. Gene Norris and Fred Hawkins, of Montezuma.

The Republican joins the many friends of the young couple in extending congratulations and hopes their journey may be one of much pleasure and of success.
