COW KILLED BY
UNKNOWN PARTY

Sheriff Dinty Mulcahy and his deputy, Ed Jantzen, were called to Searsboro, Friday morning by Fred Watson to make an investigation as to the killing of a cow, which had been shot and then its throat cut. The animal was found in the pasture. Evidently the person who had killed the animal was intending to cut it up for meat, when he became frightened and left his game.

No traces were found as to who committed the outrage.
