A team driven by Frank Veverka was frightened by an automobile, last Friday near Carnforth and ran away. The occupants, Mr. Veverka and his two daughters, Mrs. J.C. Lepley and Mrs. Henry Mulhern, were thrown out of the buggy. Mr. Veverka's left collar bone was broken and the ladies sustained severe bruises, but none of the injuries were serious.
