I am looking for any information on the following family, especially military information and a 1910 census for James.

James William Fonda b. 9-19-1888 in Council Bluffs, IA and died 5-14-1954 in Poplar Bluff, MO where he is buried. James went to Council Bluffs High School and then to college/medical school at Creighton in Omaha. He was in the army during WW I - possibly a captain in the medical corp. James and 1st wife Gertrude F. Hooker were married June 14, 1917 in Council Bluffs, IA. James, wife Gertrude and mother-in-law Lizzie Hooker are on the 1920 census in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co. IA, where his occupation is listed doctor in General Practice. James, Gertrude and their 4 children (Jean B., Julia Helen, Kenneth Allen and Phyllis Louise) are on the 1930 Census in Longmont, Boulder Co. CO where his occupation is listed as medical. James 2nd wife was Albertina Antonia Rosina BRUN they were married November 11, 1937, place unknown. James and Albertina had one child David.

James was the son of Merne Lincoln Fonda b. 9-22-1864 in Volney, Oswega Co. NY and died 2-18-1936 in Council Bluffs, burial unknown. James’ mother was Mildred (Millie) Amelia Hackman b. 5-10-1867 in Paw Paw, Lee Co. IL and died 4-23-1948 in Allison, Butler Co. IL, burial unknown. Merne and Millie had the following children: Edith Jeannette who married Claude Ernest Hinman, James William, Bessie Marion who married Herman Smith and Leston Woodman Stacy, and Donald Clarence who married Lenora Unknown. Donald was also in the Army.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
