In Response To: 1900 Census for CB, Iowa (Cheryl BANKS)

Charles and Abigail Bailey are enumerated in Council Bluffs in 1910, 1920, 1925 state census and the 1930 census. Their daughter (age 37 and single) was still living with them in 1925. In 1930, Charles A. is 70 and Abigail is 67. Living with them is Abigail's brother, Thomas France.

1930 Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa; Roll: 679; Page: 13A; Enumeration District: 18;

I located both of them buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Council Bluffs in Section 16, Lot 79, graves 1 and 2.
Charles A. Bailey died February 16, 1936
Abbie Bailey died January 11, 1933

Since they died three years apart, it appears that they did not die in a common automobile accident. I suggest you seek out an obituary for each of them.

Hope this helps.
